About UK Esports Betting

What UK Esports Betting is

UK Esports Betting is a guide to esports betting at bookmakers licensed by the Gambling Commission. It covers League of Legends, Counter-Strike 2, Dota 2 and Valorant, and each fact on a page comes with its source. It is a guide, not a bookmaker.

Esports markets come from each bookmaker's esports section and betting rules, and facts about a game come from the game maker's site.

What we cover

We check four bookmakers: Betway, Midnite, Unibet and William Hill. Each holds a Gambling Commission licence, and a brand without one is named only to say so, as with GG.Bet, whose UK licence is surrendered on the Gambling Commission register.

The game pages cover League of Legends, Counter-Strike 2 and Dota 2, with what to check before a bet on each.

There is a game page for Valorant too. The betting guides explain esports markets and League of Legends odds, and the esports betting offers page sets out the sports welcome offers at the four bookmakers.

What we do not do

We take no bets and hold no accounts. We give no tips and sell no systems, so nothing here tells you what to back.

We never point to skin betting, and we never present any site as a way around a self-exclusion. Gamstop Online blocks you from gambling websites and apps licensed in Great Britain, so a self-exclusion made there applies across the bookmakers we cover.

Nothing is ranked by offer size. The method page explains how we rate the bookmakers.

If you need help with your own gambling, start with the responsible gambling page.

The team behind the pages

The UK Esports Betting research team is the author of every page on this site, and the bylines link here. The team writes each page, tests the bookmakers, reads the sources named on each page and checks every fact before it is published. It also checks every bookmaker's licence on the Gambling Commission register before a page about that bookmaker goes live. Pages are signed by the team, not by one person.

Corrections

When a fact on a page is in doubt, we read the bookmaker's own page again before we change anything.

Corrections can be sent to info@esportsbookies.co.uk. Please name the page and the fact you think is wrong.
